• We Build It Better: As experts in the realignment, rebuilding and repair of machine tools and heavy machinery, PYRAMID's craftsmen have the know-how and experience to meet your needs, whether it's a quick fix to get that vital machine tool back into production or modifications to an aging piece of equipment to modernize its performance and maximize its worth.
Here are just some of our capabilities:
• Precision Realignment: We can realign your machine tool using a variety of methods, including hand scraping or way grinding. If rebuilding is needed, we handle dovetails, box ways, linear bearings and other components – and we do the job right the first time.
• Repairs: Among our talents are mending or rebuilding spindles, gearboxes, slides and tooling.
• Fieldwork: We come to you. Our field services include machine tool realignment, laser leveling; repairing mechanical, hydraulic and lubrication systems; and rebuilding mills, drills, lathes, spindles and gearboxes.
• Modifications: Sometimes a machine needs altered to squeeze peak productivity from it. That may mean installing a variable-speed drive or a single-axis motion controller. Whatever the answer is, we’ll find it.
• Remanufacturing: They really don’t “build ‘em like they used to.” We can link today’s CNC technology to yesterday’s machines to create equipment that’s BETTER THAN EVER!
